Hi Wendy,

We wanted to let you know that our baby boy came early Saturday morning—my birthday! His name is Simon, and we love him to bits.

My labor was only 10 hours long and progressed so quickly that by the time I was considering gas and air it was time to push, so I managed without any medication (or stitches!). We’re now home, settling in and working on our breastfeeding latch.

Both our doula and the midwife who delivered us commented that we seemed extremely well prepared, and that’s all thanks to you. Your class was so extremely helpful—even in the more difficult moments, we never felt like we didn’t know what to do or what to expect, and that made such a difference. 

So thank you for everything, and all the best!

Hi Wendy,

I finally had our baby last Friday, at 41+3 and it was a water birth after all! Her name is Zoe and she weighed 8 lbs 4 oz! We had some complications in the end, but we are now both doing great. As promised, I attach a few photos and a (fairly long) birth story. Feel free to forward to the group, I wasn't sure how to do so!

Hi Wendy,

We wanted to let you know that our daughter Nola was born this past Sunday at Mt Auburn.  Thank you for all of your wisdom and guidance during the classes last fall.  We found ourselves thinking back many times to things we learned from you during labor, delivery, and now the post-partum and breastfeeding phases.

Thank you again for everything -- it is great to feel a little bit like we know what we're doing thanks to your help.
