Childbirth Classes
Parenting and birth classes provide birthing person and their support people a science based, positive and practical class. Classes are updated frequently based on research, feedback and my experience and that of my students in the hospital, birth center or home. In addition to the vast material about birth, the classes contain many hands on and experiential activities which can be directly brought to your birth. Meet others and feel free to ask questions, eat, move around and relax in my cozy dedicated birthing classroom. Classes are typically 3 to 4 weeks and are either small group or private based on your needs and time. Classes are taught in person, online option, or privately. LGBTA+ friendly. Most Health Insurance reimburses a substantial portion of the cost of this class. FSA eligible. Note: If you cannot find a date that works and you bring a cohort I will work to custom plan a class for you!

“January 2020
Wendy’s knowledge, experience and passion is immense. She turns topics of discussion that typically are accompanied by anxiety, concern and misinformation into subjects of intrigue, clarity and excitement. One of our favorite things about this class, as well as the ‘Childbirth’ class is the fact that while Wendy presents the ‘meat and potatoes’ of information, she is able to immediately dive into the nuanced details of every step of the process with personal examples/experiences. There was never a single question that Wendy was unable to answer with a thorough and thoughtful response.
